No, with state regulated Garage Sales, poor people would not be better off.

Why should government have anything to do with simple economics. The simple answer is, NO, A private citizen should not be invaded by the state over something as simple as a garage sale. Because thats how it starts. Government managing finance is like giving a dog a bite from the table. Give them A taste of Cat food and the’ll be back for the whole damn cat. If the state were to regulate and work a Garage sale, that means they have a stake in that sale. They would take a cut. And since their in control of the sale, that means they can control the cut. Simply that means, you are going to make almost no money, and already being poor, be worse off as the government essetially sold all of you belongings to put a check in their pocket.-
