Chapter 10 continues with a discussion of the South Post Civil War. It talks about the Norths intervention of the “clean-up” of the South. This chapter talks about the fact that there is an old south and a new south. It talks about the Northern intervention in a rebuilding of a destroyed soceity.
Personal Opinion. This book has changed my mind on the Civil war. I once thought that the South was wrong and evil. They had their reasons for fighting. They are justified. The simple fact is the civil was was not black and white, and to think it is, is an injustice.
