Chapter 7 talks about the Father of succession, John Milton. This chapter discusses in detail the life and ideas of John Milton and how they play a role in the Civil war. The readings converses the ideas that Milton had come up with and how they played a role in the American public. The book also talks about how his ideas and reasons relate to the constitution and consent of the governed people.
Personal Opinon.
This chapter shows that many great ideas can be shared and greatly related. John Milton was a person of great interest for me as many of his ideas were right wing and focused on the U.S. This chapter does a nice job of relating his ideas and theories very closely with the Civil War.
