Chapter 3 talks about the relations of the blacks and whites on the battle field. It is well known that civil war is portrayed about strictly whites trying to continue to own blacks. According to the book, that is wrong. The civil war was a defense against the north in hopes to defend a way of life and and push away the Henry Clay economic model. There are reported black soldiers, who fought alongside the whites in order to defend their land and the ones they loved.
Personal opinion:
I like this book because of the different outlook on history. Of course everything has to be taken with a grain of salt, an enormous amount of information in this book, I enjoy learning about. It seems that most of mainstream information was fabricated and in no way based in reality. With this book, there is real evidence and documents that show and prove that the south was right,
