“Why has this theme remained popular since 1587?”

Since the beginning of history, There has been one question. Is there A God? Is there a creator to this world. Is there someone behind human concisness and awareness. But another question arose, if there is good, than evil must follow. People then wondered in there a devil. Since man was created, lusting of objects and money has always been on the top of the list. people want things endlessly and sometimes will do anything to get to it. This gets to the theme, selling your soul inorder to recive something, Power, money, sex, whatever it is, now you have it, but at a horrbile cost. This theme has kept it’s popularity because now more than ever, people see it in the world today.

These stories always start out the same. Somebody wants something they can’t get or have. Then they sell away the only important part of themselves for an object. When I say object I mean in the sense anything. Power is an object. They might sell themselves for an object because they either have no paitence or a horrible moral compass. Greed tends to get the best of people an typically, this always what the stories are about. These people don’t relize that handwork can earn them the same thing I think this is so popular because people who read these stories are also short of patience and work ethic. Typically these people continue to gain wealth and they sell more and more of themselves for more and more success.

These people get obsessed with selling themselves and pushing themselves further and further down that hole. Eventually one day they wake up and they have everything they have ever wanted. This is a cautionary tale to many people and that’s why it is so important. Thats is why it is so popular today. This is a warning
