A majority of WW2 was about revenge. From start to finish, almost all the fighting was done over grudges. The second world war began over Germany wanting to get revenge on the rest of the world. And the end of the WW1, Germany was essentially left in the dust by it’s allies and left to fend for themselves. Hitler thought the government turned on its own people. He took over the country, by putting it’s people first. He rose to power because he was promising he was gonna fix the country. Eventually, he just started conquering Europe. He took over countries that had allies, and the allies started fighting against the Nazis. Revenge is not just in Germany and in Europe.
The reason the United States got involved in the war was because of Pearl Harbor. Essentially the Untied Stats and Japan played Bomb Tag. The Japanese bombed pearl harbor, and then we dropped a nuke on them. World War two was essentially a revenge fest between countries. The entirety of the war was almost completely civilian death. The death record was almost 45 million innocent people. Often times people tend to skip over war as something noble and smart. It is the complete opposite. War is violence towards innocence. So many people are deeply scarred because of war. People who have PTSD suffer for the rest of their lives. The people who cause war are the exact same people to be protected from it. War is between governments, violent fighting is between men.
