History 2 125

What are the primary differences discussed in this week’s videos between Marxism and Marxism-Leninism?  While they both discuss the ideas of communism, and both are ideas revolving around communism, their bases are different. Marxists believe that communism is always going to happen naturally. It is the belief that all economy’s and countries should be communist and will always become communist. At one time this was thought to be nothing but a theory and idea. Looking at the United States now, we are one election away from a full blown communist cabal breathing down the neck of every Untied States citizen, legal or not. Marxism Leninism is the idea the communism is still the best, however, needs to be forced upon the people. He believed that People would not fall in line under tyrannical rule, and therefore had to be forced.

Historian Richard Pipes wrote, “Soviet Russia was the first society in history to outlaw law.” What did he mean by that?  In soviet Russia, There was almost no education needed to become a judge. Now a days, a judge with no degree of form of education would not even be allowed, but back then, they did not care. The phrase originated from this meaning that there were so many unfair rulings, they outlawed law. This designs was a complete disaster for so many people, innocent people went to jail, and guilty people went free.

What was the Russian government under Lenin like? What kinds of tasks did it attempt to achieve? The Russian government under Lenin was ruthless. He was known for his violent tactics against his own people. He stole from many churches, and he even starved his own people causing 5.2 million deaths
