What, in a nutshell, was the Industrial Revolution? The industrial revolution was a time of great profress. Many machines and other important tools were born during this time. During this time, those machines completely re imagined how the world was going to work.
What was the standard-of-living debate? This was a debate about if the Industrial revolution was worth it or not. They argued over the fact that while the economy flourished, many people’s way of living was destroyed in the process.
What were the different arguments that combined in Britain to pave the way for the abolition of slavery in that country’s overseas colonies? Britain freed their slaves in 1833. Before this their was also several abolition speeches to make progress in abolition.
