What was “enlightened absolutism”? This is the name for the laws made in the 18^th and 19^th centuries. Many of these laws made from absolutism used enlightenment ideas.
What was the constitutional dispute between the colonists and the British government that led to the American Revolution? Give specific examples of how this constitutional dispute was evident in particular events (e.g., the Stamp Act). In the revolution, the colonist were being taxed unfairly on almost everything they did. The colonists had heavy boycotts, as well wrote letters to the people in power to complain. The British removed all tax except for tea. This was called the town shed act.
