How important were the miracles in the book’s account of Jesus’ early ministry?”

This week in the RPC, we read about the Gospel of Mark. Within this gospel we see the work of Jesus Christ, The son of God. He was the prophet sent by god to save the world from their sins. Many people did not believe the he was a prophet and wanted him to prove it. So he did so. He performed miracles that would be impossible if he was not Holy. He showed people his power. He scared evil spirits away. He was a kind king among the people. He would bring food to those who need it. He would bring the dead back to life. He performed things that no one at that time could even think of. Theses actions and miracles convinced a lot of people, and thus, Christianity was born. However, with these amazing feats, he landed in hot water with the Roman Government. He was seen as a threat to their power. If people were worshiping him, they could not worship the government. These miracles are very important.

As stated previously, Jesus performed many miracles for lots of people. He did so for many reasons. One reason is because he is kind and wanted to help people. He also could have done so to gain traction in the public eye. He could not share his teachings and knowledge if nobody knew about him. By doing these things, people would have talked about him, and his reputation could have spread. At the end of his time on earth, he had a large following of people who truly believed in him. Stated above, I mentioned that could have also done these things to prove he was the Messiah. When he first started his teachings, many people did not want to listen to him. By performing these great feats, he was able to convince everyone he was the Messiah.

These miracles are the most important thing in the world. Reviewing history, there has not been another event that has changed the course of mankind as we know it, like the birth of Jesus Christ. His miracles are just as important. His miracles resulted in the world becoming more religious and more connected to God. Without him, we would still believe in God, however, without Christs teachings, we would not understand as much of God. Simply put, without his miracle,s we not have modern day Christianity, the largest religion on Earth.

Without Jesus Christ and his miracles, the world would be very different. Instead of Christianity there would be more Judaism. His miracles helped the people involved, but helped the entire world for generations and generations. Jesus Christ is the son of God and has helped the world in many ways. He has helped my life countless times, and I know he has helped others in their life as well. Without his miracles, we would have no knowledge of the true teaching of God and his will.
