What does Adam Smith mean by the “invisible hand”? The invisible hand term was first introduced by an enlightenment figure Adam Smith. This term simply boils down to the meaning of free market. This means that people should work for what they want, and what is the best job for them. Everyone has independence to work how they would like.

One of them was from the king of Prussia. He said that if she took the bribe for her land, he would not send his army of 100,000 men after her. Of course, she did not take the bribe for land, it was her land. This upset the king, and so began the War of the Austrian Succession. Nearing the end of the war, he almost decided to give up the fight, however, he was convinced to keep fighting. In the end, he won the war and the piece of land.
