What are some of the characteristic features of (a) Mannerism and (b) the Baroque? Some of the characteristic features of mannerism are after the end of the high Renaissance era, many people questioned were art would go next, what would be ground breaking and how so. This caused the effect of Mannerism. The High Renaissance was very elegant clean and crisp. The age of Mannerism is quite the opposite as there were clashing colors, and blurred lines. Baroque was the style of music at the time and it was basically was Major- Minor, basso continuo.
Describe Peter the Great’s program for Russia.Peter the Great’s main ideas for Russia was modernizing it. He also deeply believed in making it a strong maritime power. Many people disagreed with this. He violently destroyed those rebellions. He also wanted to grow manufacturing and exporting.
What did Frederick William accomplish? He was able to accomplish quite a bit. He was able to build up quite a sustainable army of 45,000 people willing to serve. He was a strong advocate for mercantilism and monopolies. He made easier travel with Prussia by making waterways.
