Ghostwriting

In the world of business there are many Jobs, each requiring their own skills and duties. This week in the RPC, we learned about Ghostwriting. Ghostwriting is like writing books, novels, and advertisements, but they are all credited to the author. This work is almost always Freelance, which does allow flexibility within my scheduled. Ghostwriting is typically done remotely, which means there is no office involved. For someone who wants privacy and a quiet calm workplace, that could be very nice. In my previous writings, I have discussed how I enjoy writing and working on my own schedule, this would be a fitting job to meet those requirements. Ghostwriting would be enjoyable because it is like writing an essay with a predefined subject to talk about. This helps avoid writers block, something I struggle with. With somebody telling you what to write about, there are always ideas circulating.

Setting up one of these businesses is fairly straight forward and easy. It requires little preparation and the resources are easy to get. For example, a laptop, a writing service, and a editing service. There are 1,000s of these services that are offered and are easy to choose from. Like, google docs, word press, Grammarly, and Open Office writer. All of these are affordable and easy to use. Building clients would be a small struggle, as not many people know you exist when you first start out. However, once started with clients, the word will be spread and my business will start to grow. Ghostwriting is an exciting business opportunity which I can take part in. Building clients and resources will be good learning, and great for many businesses.
