What was the Glorious Revolution? Why is it significant in English history? It was a revolution that took place between 1688 and 1689. It was started because King James the 2^nd was trying to reinstate Catholicism. It was significant because there was only 15 deaths within the entire revolution. It also destroyed any chance that England would become a monarchy like France.
On what grounds does Locke believe people can establish a claim to property ownership over a previously unowned good? John Locke strongly believed that owning something first came with self ownership.
Why does Locke believe absolute monarchy fails to resolve the “inconveniences” of the state of nature? He believes it failed because the monarchy can not solve everybody’s single needs and wants.
