Discuss the element of hierarchy in Genesis 1-3.” Consider such things as Adam’s relation to God, Eve’s relation to Adam and God, and the serpent’s relation to Adam, Eve, and God.

The is one of the most important religious and historical texts in the world. Every page has valuable lessons and teachings that apply to all generations. Telling the stories of creation, and battle of good and evil. Without the Bible, humankind today would not be the same. The streets would not be safe, and evil would most likely be in triumph. The Bible is an important moral code forall ages and people. Without the bible, We wouldn’t understand God, or why things are, the way they are. The Bible shows why God creates things and how he creates things. How he governs the people he created, and how the people feel about God. The bible shows in Genesis 1-3 the creation all the way to Adam and Eve eating the forbidden fruit, and the serpent who told them to do so.

In the Bible God creates the heaven and the Earth. He creates all living things on earth. We know God spoke much of his creation into existane. He did not have to use tools, or anything like such. He then creates Man. He created man from the Earth, and breathes life into him. By doing this, God has created a living breathing man with flesh in  God’s image. God gives Adam the Task of naming all the living creatures on Earth. With doing this Adam was supposed to find his meet. He did not. This leads to the creation of Eve. Eve was created out of man, using Adams rib. Woman was created. God created a garden named Eden, where the two could live. He set one rule however, they were not allowed to eat from the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil. If they did, they would would surely die.

With god instructing the two of them, they were allowed to eat the fruit from the other trees. God, never instructed them to not eat from the tree of life. He did not say this because he intended for God to have free will, and not be controlled. At this time however, there was a serpent in the Garden. The serpent convinced Eve to eat from the tree, saying you will not die. She did eat from the tree, and then she gave some to Adam. The serpent had convinced the two of them to believe him over God. When the Two ate from the tree, there eyes were opened. They relized that they were in the nude. Instead of eating from the tree of life, they decided to make coverings for themselves. God saw that they had covered themselves, and knew they had ate from the tree. He banished the two from the garden two live normal lives.

When Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge, the hierarchy shifted and the serpent became influence in mans decisions. God was in charge of Man, and was the ultimate power.  However, the serpent did take control of man and the sin. Truly at that point the hierarchy was a mess as Man was not listening to god at that point, instead listening to Satan.
