This week has been packed with lots of important information. During our learning’s this week, we learned about the 3 parts of business. These are Sales and marking, operations,and finance administration. Sales and marketing are where people entice the customers with different ideas such as advertisement. Operations is when the product is either created or given to the customer, which was promised in the ad or sales pitch. Finance administration is the part of the business that looks over the business financially. These three parts of the business is then overseen by the President/CEO. All of these things combined create a fine oiled machine for money making. Many local businesses use this format. For example, Walmart is a great example. Walmart’s sales and marketing is some of the best in the world. They make millions of dollars off of them. The operations part is also very well put together. After they put the advertisement out into the world. The product is then delivered in stores where people can go and get what they were promised in the advertisements. The finance department works very well. They always know how much money the company really has, they know how much all of their franchises have. Their President and CEO is a strong confident leader who can over see every single thing that happens with that company and what will happen next. In total, Walmart is a perfect business is an example of how the 3 parts of a business can run successfully.
