Harry Browne’s book The secret of selling anything, is an important book for people who want to start a business, and want to become better salesmen. Within the book there are many important facts and ideas that help salesmen to sell anything they want. Within the text there is the 5- point sales process. The first of these five points is two find what the person wants, and what he doesn’t want. This is extremely important as knowing these things, you can angle pitch that they will like. Simply asking him or her questions about their lives and their interests is a great way to do this. The second step of this is to summarize the wants and needs of the person back to the person. This is a good confirmation tactic that makes sure both you and him are on the same page and want the same things. Step 3 is to present the product to the customer, and explain to them how that product can help fulfill the needs and wants that they have. Show the person the features or the ideas that they would be interested in,and leave out the stuff they do not like or are not interested in. Step 4 is to answer questions. Be there for them when they are questioning what was presented. They are going to want to know more and answering their questions is a great way to do this. Step 5 is to close the sale while the person is still eager to buy from you. If all other steps went as planned, then the customer will want to buy the product and it it business as usual.
