What I must do in my note-taking to describe what is going on around me
Throughout the year thus far, I have read many autobiographies, written by a very diverse group of people. No two are the same. This has not only improved my reading ability and vocabulary, but it also has shown me what a good autobiography is, and what makes them good. However, there are many things that make an autobiography gripping and fun, and one of these is background information. The book Walden suffered without the bumf of his early life. However, the book written by Jim Lear did much better because of him including his early life. It gives the reader context, and can connect the book and the reader in a meaningful way. One way to definitely help the autobiography is taking notes on life, and writing down the important things. This may be tedious at times, but it will improve the autobiography and what it was about.
As stated previously, Note taking is very important in the autobiography process, remembering things is very difficult, so writing them down will make it easier. For example, you may not remember what you did today, when you are 67 years old. But if you write down what you did today, you will be able to read and see. This is extremely helpful. Including vividness in an autobiography is extremely important. It is one of the main reasons someone is reading it. The novels can provide context and insight into certain time periods and ideas. Simply describing the most important thing in each day, or week is something all aspiring autobiography writers should do. Keep a time journal, and write down as much as possible.
Previously noted, writing down what happens is extremely important. As we get older, our memory begins to fade. I am not saying we will forget everything, however, I am saying that it is helpful to be able to remember for autobiographies. What I must do in my note taking is what I have stated above, simply writing down the biggest thing of each day is something that could greatly improve the book. Or something easier such as each week or month. Doing this would be almost an autobiography to. I would include the dates and years. This would help me track what I am writing, and make sure it is in chronological order. This would also help the reader understand what certain things are happening, as everything is in order.
Writing an autobiography is a daunting task. The writer must remember as much as they can, and put in as much as they can. They must learn from other writers and make sure the include things the reader wants. They should include background information and certain hobbies. However, note taking is just as important. Because of note-taking, the writer can spare time, and pull things up at a later date. This improves the book and the readers experience. The writer does not need to write down everyday, but rather keep a log on important events, that way the autobiography turns out great.
