My 9-month plan to get a part-time job at no less than $20/hour to help a businessman improve his marketing
My 9 month plan to get a part-time job is to use the tools built around me. The yellow pages is a booklet with all advertising information. Using the yellow pages,I would find several local businesses and call or email them. I would simply say with my help I can advertise their business and help grow it into the main stream. The reason I choose yellow pages is because although it is very outdated, many growing businesses still use it in the economy around us. As stated above, I would call or email them, and try to talk to the person in charge of advertising. To convince them, I would ask if their ad in the yellow pages is truly helping their business thrive and stay ahead of others. I would explain to them that I could help them help grow their profits. Giving them time to think, weeks later I would ask the same question to the same person. By then, they would understand that using the yellow pages is wasting their money. I would explain to them the idea of google ad words, show them how it works, and how they could grow their money. I would also mention that I could control the entire thing and have them over see it. By then I would say for 20 dollars an hour, I could manage(Part time,) all their advertising over the internet, and help grow their business and profits.
