Discuss the rise and fall of Girolamo Savonarola. Girolamo was an Italian Dominican Friar who lived the in the area of Florence during the 14 hundreds. He was known widely because of his preaching against the Renaissance. He believed and told his followers that they should reject the Renaissance and return to a simple and moral time. He went beyond the teachings of the church and jumped into politics. Many of his ideas started to clash against the Pope. Because of this he was excommunicated.
When the war began, it started because when Ludovico Sforza told king Charles of France to invade Italy.
Discuss some of the significant aspects of the reign of Louis XI. Louis was referred to as the spider king. He made peace with England and reorganized French Royal authority.
