Which of these ads best conforms to Joyner’s standards of an irresistible offer
I think that the M&M’s commercial does the best job of meeting the standards to the Irresistible Offer. All of the ads do meet the criteria, and they all do a good job of advertising the product. I believe that M&M however, did it best. In their commercial, they advertise a piece of chocolate that doesn’t melt in your hand, but rather, will melt in your mouth. This is the irresistible offer. They used their slogan to entice the public. Then they explain their product. Within 30 seconds of the commercial, most people are ready to go buy M&Ms. Then they explain a new product coming out, enticing already regular buying customers.
All of the commercials do a good job advertising, and all of them are interesting and fun to watch. I strongly believe that M&M best conforms to the book, and what the book discusses. Although in the book, Joyner suggests not using a slogan, M&M did use a slogan, and it worked out for the best. M&M did do a good job to conforming to the book, but there were other ads that conformed as well. The TRS-80 followed the books guidelines also. As soon as the commercial starts, the ad jumps right to how much of a benefit the product is. This is how they grabbed the public to their advertisement. M&M was the best commercial. They followed the strategies outlined in the book, and presented the most entertaining commercials.
