What was the significance of the Papal-Frankish Alliance? What were two factors that helped make the alliance possible. The two reasons that the papal-Frankish Alliance was created was to spread Christianity. Franks were very Germanic and very Christian. The second reason the Alliance was created was for protection, as both sides needed protection against their enemy. The reason the Alliance was so important was because, to me, both sides were achieving what they wanted.
What picture of Charlemagne emerges from Einhard’s biography. The picture of Charlemagne deserves respect. He had worked tirelessly to raise his kids in a safe environment, and be a good man. He fought in wars and ruled with respect. Charlemagne was also very personable and was able to make friends easily. He was a kind man, and a great ruler.
