History lesson 55

  1.  According to Seneca, what is man’s unique good? How should a good man conduct himself. According to Seneca, A man’s unique good is his human reason. He talks about how this one trait separates him from animals and wild beasts of nature. A man should conduct himself with the pursuit of knowledge. He believes good conduct is to exercise and continue to learn and push, and study the human reason
  2. Read further about one of the works of art discussed in Lesson 54,  discuss the additional details you find out. What I chose to read about was the aqueducts in Rome. What I learned was by the 3rd century A.D, 11 aqueducts had bean built, and this was quite a feat for the time. I also learned that people who were very wealthy and flourishing in the economy,  used these as a mode of transportation . Over a million people used these aqueducts for transportation.
